B2B Media Training provides highly focused training for senior executives in the handling of all types of media in a variety of real-life situations.

Brian (left ) is an award-winning trade journalist, video presenter, business-to-business magazine editor and media trainer, with more than 30 years' experience of observing and participating in corporate press events around the world. He has also been a blogger, podcaster and social media commentator.
After more than two decades as a senior editor, Brian established his first media training courses in 2009. Since then he has delivered dozens of successful training sessions to executives across a wide variety of sectors including manufacturing, automotive, logistics, energy, local government and the legal profession.
With experience straddling the PR-media divide, Brian is an independent consultant and continues to work as a business-to-business journalist on a daily basis. He is not tied to any PR consultancy, and works with a number of public relations practitioners to provide media training services for their clients.
Brian says: "Ultimately when it comes to talking to the media it will be your message that will be delivered, based on your own strategy and goals. But with over 30 years' experience as a business journalist I can guide you on selecting the elements that will be of greatest interest to the media and from those discussions talk you through how best to structure a story to get your message across effectively."

Individually, Brian has also been a British Society of Magazine Editors Business-to-Business Magazines Editor of the Year, the APR Consumer Journalist of the Year, Market Engineering Technology Writer of the Year, the CILT(UK) Logistics and Transport Journalist of the Year, and Cummins Commercial Vehicle Writer of the Year.
He won the 'Commercial Vehicle Writer' category of the Newspress Awards 2020, after receiving a Highly Commended in the 2018 Awards.
